Dabiz site features now online

The Dabawenyo Business Directory (or “Dabiz” for short) is now fully functional, with all the fundamental features in place:

Listing for Lane Systems

  • Submission of Listings by members (Dabawenyo.biz registered users) — for free!
  • Listing page for each submission, with the following info:
    • Contact details
    • Operating hours
    • Pictures (maximum of 4 per listing)
    • Description
    • Location map via Google Maps®
    • Contact form for each listing (the listing owner directly receives messages sent by readers via this form)
    • ‘Posted by’ tab showing some info about the listing owner
    • Tagging (for SEO value)
    • Online bookmarking feature
    • Page views counter
    • Feedback system via WordPress comments
    • Rating by stars (get your friends to give your page some stars!)
  • SSL encryption for listing submission
  • Twitter live feed displaying tweets with the “davao” keyword (sidebar, front page)
  • … and more to come soon!
