Dashboard
First, let’s start with creating your Dabawenyo.biz account. Browsing the directory entries is possible even without being a member. However, to be able to post ads or submit business listings, you will need to have membership. It’s free!
It’s really simple and it takes only a minute to do. If you don’t have an account yet, click on the Become a Member link at the top, right-hand corner of the website. (Or you may click here, too.) You will be brought to the registration page where you will be asked for a unique username, your email address, and a password (to be entered twice). We will take all necessary precautions to safeguard your privacy.
After successful registration, you will be able to submit directory entries right away.
You will be provided with your own Dashboard. (The link to the Dashboard replaces the registration link when you are logged in.) On the right-hand portion of your Dashboard, on the sidebar, you will see a heading that says Member Menu. Under that, click on Edit Your Dabawenyo.biz Profile so that you can provide — if you choose to do so — more information about yourself in the following screen (the profile-editing page).
The profile information that you provide will be visible to the public in three different places: [1] the Poster tab, which appears on the sidebar in your business listing page(s); [2] your public profile page, which is accessible by clicking on your name from your posts; and, [3] your dashboard, which only you can view. All information will be viewable to the public, except your password and email address. Make sure to fill in the Twitter and Facebook fields, so that people who look at your profile might decide to follow you.
Browsing the Directories
Navigating the business directory from anywhere has been made easy. 
First of all, the menu links in the header area: there is an item there, Categories ∇, which brings down an organized list of all the categories when your mouse hovers over the link.
There are other such menus throughout the site, which is a usability consideration for your convenience. Please make use of the on-site search engine as well. Basically, you can search by keyword (by replacing the What are you looking for? text), and you can make the search more refined by narrowing down to a specific category (use the drop-down list of categories).
For example, if you’re looking for where to buy a pet dog, a good search term would be something like this: “shih tzu puppy +davao city” (with the drop-down list pointing to Pet Shops under For Sale). The “+davao city” part of the term tells the search engine to give priority to ads that have that particular phrase included.
This means that, when you submit your business directory listing, make sure to provide enough information about your business / service, so that it might have a good chance of being seen when people in your market use the site’s search engine.
